The first Columbia River Indian Fisher's Expo planning is currently underway. Check back regularly as the date draws near to see the latest information.

The Expo will run Friday and Saturday from 8:30 to 5:00 each day. It is a free event and includes a breakfast and lunch each day.

Currently, we have confirmed the following presentations and vendor displays:

  • River fishing boats
  • Weights and scales
  • Totes and commercial gear
  • Paper packaging for fish products
  • Mobile cold storage trailers
  • Tribal fishery updates
  • Cold water survival
  • HAACP updates and news
  • Value-added products
  • Small business loans and funding techniques for Indian fishers
  • Q&A sessions with tribal leaders from each of the four CRITFC member tribes
  • Oregon food handling certification classes

There are more topics and vendors we're working on securing and this list will grow as the Expo approaches.
