Fish Passage Scientist Closing

Areas of focus include fish passage, aquatic ecology, water management and climate change as elements in the restoration of Columbia Basin anadromous fishery resources.

Fishery Technician III Closing
17 Feb 2012

This position involves field, laboratory, and office work related to the investigation of steelhead reproductive strategies and artificial kelt reconditioning. The anticipated start date for this project is June 1.

Fishery Technician II Closing
17 February 2012

This is a field intensive project that is primarily conducted aboard a boat working in inclement weather (wind, cold, rain, sometimes snow) between March and May. Most of the work will be hazing sea lions with pyrotechnics, but some sea lion trapping and boat based enumeration surveys will be conducted. The duration of this position is limited to three months. The anticipated start date for this position is March 1.

Tribal FishCo, LLC is set up as a manager-run company. The manager is the CEO of the company and, subject to the direction and control of the Board of Advisors as required to comply with Section 7873 of the Internal Revenue code and the company’s LLC agreement, is responsible for carrying-out the company’s business. The Manager must be experienced in fish processing and marketing.
